Current Road Work

Chessman Drive between Silent Spring Drive and Abrazo will be closed from July 26, 2021 to September 17, 2021 for a continuous 24-hours. The closure will allow for the construction of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, a new storm line connection, extension of water and sewer services. City Hall Re-stucco:
Work on City Hall will be June 2021 - September 2021, typically from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Please note that there may be intermittent lane or road closures during work.
Work for the King Boulevard project will be November 2020 - May 2021, typically from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, and weekend and evening hours as needed. Construction includes curb ramp upgrades, miscellaneous sidewalk and curb and gutter replacements, replacement of the pavement surface, replacement of the multi-use path, and pavement marking. The current striping configuration of the roadway will be maintained. The western limits of this project are Rainbow Blvd, and the eastern limits are Wilpett Rd intersection.
Work for the Lincoln Avenue Phase II Project will be April 2020 - Winter 2020, typically from 7:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m, Monday - Friday, and weekends and evening hours as needed.
Work for the Neighborhood Streets Improvement Project will be typically from 7:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, and weekends and evening hours as needed. Please click on the project title for estimate starting dates for crack patching and crack sealing on specific roads.
Work for the G.O. Bond Unser Boulevard Rehabilitation Project between Southern Boulevard and City Limits will begin January 2021 and continue through September 2021. Construction will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, and weekends and evening hours as needed. Business and residential entrances will be open at all time. As part of construction, traffic signal changes, such as left turn signals, will occur and become permanent after construction.
