March 2024 Municipal Officer Election
The Municipal Officer Election is taking place on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. The election will be held to elect three City Councilors to a four-year term: Councilor District 1, City Councilor District 4, and City Councilor District 6. Citywide, voters will also be asked to consider three General Obligation Bond questions – Roads, Public Safety, and Quality of Life Facilities.

Candidate Filing Day: Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Individuals wanting to declare their candidacy must file a Declaration of Candidacy Form with the City Clerk - 3200 Civic Center Circle NE, Suite 150, 87144.
Write-in Candidate Filing Day: Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

"Shall the City of Rio Rancho issue up to $10,600,000 of general obligation bonds, to be repaid from property taxes, for the purpose of designing, constructing, repairing, preserving, rehabilitating, enhancing, and otherwise improving roads and underlying utility infrastructure?"

Early Voting Locations
Early voting in person will begin on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Broadmoor Senior Center (Clerk’s Annex). Five additional early voting locations will open starting on Saturday, February 17, 2024. For more information regarding early voting locations, click here.
Election Day Voting Locations
