Public Mtg. - Strategic Plan Update Input

The City of Rio Rancho is updating its 5-year Strategic Plan document and public input is sought.
A public meeting is taking place on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Loma Colorado Main Library (755 Loma Colorado Blvd.). Another public meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Loma Colorado Library. For those unable to attend the public meetings, input can be provided by completing a brief survey available on the City’s website, www.rrnm.gov/sp.
The City’s Strategic Plan establishes goals for local government and identifies strategies to achieve objectives. To review the City’s Strategic Plan for 2017-2022 along with progress reports, visit www.rrnm.gov/sp.
A variety of input sources will be used for Strategic Plan update purposes, which include community members, the Governing Body (Mayor and City Council), City staff, City board/commission/committee members, and local entities. In 2023, the Governing Body will formally consider an updated Strategic Plan document.
