The 14th Annual Mayor’s Sunday is Funday is taking place on August 18, 2019 from noon to 4 p.m. at Haynes Park, 2006 Grande Blvd., across from Intel on N.M. 528. Admission is $1 for those ages 13 and older, and free parking with shuttle service will be available at the Intel parking lot off Westside Blvd.
The theme for the event is ‘Rio Rancho is Stronger Together’. At this fun, family style picnic, you’ll find many exciting events and musical entertainment along with inexpensive food choices. The event will feature a rock climbing wall, games and activities for kids, and a variety of vendor booths. During the event, you can also take a dip in the Haynes public pool, and participate in a silent auction inside the Haynes Community Center.
Proceeds raised by this event go toward community youth programs.
