Early voting for the Rio Rancho Runoff Election featuring the Mayor position will be available beginning March 31 and last through April 11, 2026. Election Day is Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Early voting at the Broadmoor Senior Center/Clerk’s Annex (3421 Broadmoor Blvd.) takes place from Tuesday, March 31 through Saturday, April 11:
•Monday – Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
•Saturday, April 4 and 11; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Voters may also cast a ballot at additional Early Voting locations from March 31-April 11:
•Tuesday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
o Loma Colorado Main Library, 755 Loma Colorado Blvd.
o Sabana Grande, 4114 Sabana Grande Ave. SE
o The Hub @ Enchanted Hills, 7845 Enchanted Hills Blvd.
o Southern Blvd., 2345 Southern Blvd., Suite C2
Same day voter registration will be available at all early voting locations.
Voters may request an absentee ballot by submitting an application no later than March 31. Visit the City’s website to request an application.
The runoff election will have the Mayor position on the ballot between Paul M. Wymer and Alexandria C. Piland. A runoff election is being held because no candidate received a majority of the votes cast for the office on March 3, 2026. The two candidates receiving the highest number of votes are subject to a runoff election.
