    This is an application to work as an Election Board Official for the March 3, 2026, Municipal Office Election.  Election Board Officials must work election day (from 6am until the polling site closes after 7:00pm).

    Election Board Officials are required to:

    • Process voters using a Ballot on Demand System
    • Maintain order and traffic flow in the polling site
    • Maintain election equipment security throughout the election process
    • Operate voter tabulators
    • Tally and balance at the end of the day
    • Assist and inform the public on election information in a neutral and non-partisan manner
    • Perform basic clerical duties

    Election Board Official receive $50 for training and $375 to $400 on Election Day based on role assigned.

    Applications to work Early Voting must be submitted  through Job Opportunities  City of Rio Rancho Careers as these are seasonal positions and work early voting in February 2026.
