ADA-Access for All

The City of Rio Rancho is committed to ensuring that residents and visitors with disabilities are able to take part in, and benefit from, the whole range of public programs, services, and activities offered by the City.

Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA)
prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities by public entities in the operation of all services, programs or activities offered by the entity.
It is the policy of the City of Rio Rancho that services, programs or activities are accessible to and usable by disabled individuals, unless providing access results in and undue financial or administrative burden to the City or causes a fundamental alteration of the nature of the programs or services. It is also the City's policy that members of the public not experience discrimination or harassment based upon disability.
