New Mexico Reads
New Mexico Reads is an eBook collection that primarily includes Southwest history and culture titles and fiction by New Mexico authors or set in the Southwest. New Mexico Reads also includes some books on racism in America, library and information science, national topics such as the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic, and a selection of audiobooks. There is a small collection of books for children and tweens and teens.

The New York Times
Enjoy complimentary all access to The New York Times using a 24-hour access code! We’re excited to offer this service courtesy of the New Mexico State Library. Here’s how it works:
Click here to access the daily redemption code webpage, then click “Redeem.” You will need to create a free account if it’s your first time visiting. Otherwise, use your email and password to sign in. Visit the webpage and redeem the code each day you would like to access The New York Times. (Feel free to bookmark or favorite the page for easy access!)
Your unlimited access to The New York Times includes:

NewsBank
NewsBank is an online, searchable database providing access to three New Mexico newspapers. Each paper provides unique coverage of local and regional news, including companies, politics, sports, industries, cultural activities, and people in the community. Paid ads are excluded.
The papers currently included are:
- Albuquerque Journal: January 1, 1995 to present
- Las Cruces Sun-News: February 14, 2004 to present
- Roswell Daily Record: January 2, 2002 to present

Ancestry.com
Ancestry Library Edition has images of more than seven billion documents, registers, and indexes, including censuses from the U.S. and many other nations, vital records, military records, immigration lists, school yearbooks, city directories, church histories, and land records. It also has how-to guides, searching tools, ways to share with others, blank charts and forms, dictionaries, maps, pictures, and stories. Ancestry Library Edition is only available on computers within the library. Look for the flag icon on the public access computer screen.

Brainfuse HelpNow provides students of all ages with live online tutoring and homework help in English and Spanish from 2pm - 11pm. It includes 24/7 access to a comprehensive library of interactive tests, including academic skills assessments, standardized tests, and New Mexico-aligned tests.
